The Evadale Rebels look to take another step in their 2017 Class 2A playoff journey as they take on the Shelbyville Dragons in this Class 2A Region III Quarterfinal.  Laurence Williams' Rebels, 21-6 on the season, reached this round with a 105-50  bi-district win over Colmesneil followed by a 75-70 area round win over Alto.  Meanwhile, the Dragons, 21-5 on the year, reached this round with a 43-42 bi-district win over Cushing, followed by a 81-76 win over Lufkin Pineywoods.

The winner of this game will face the winner of the Grapeland/La Poynor game in the Region 3 Semifinals at Leon High School in Jewett at 5 pm on Friday.

There is ZERO cell reception inside the gym. Everyone runs outside at halftime to check their phones(including me). It's hilarious....
