Laurence Williams' Rebels, 21-6 on the season, reached this round with a 105-50 bi-district win over Colmesneil followed by a 75-70 area round win over Alto. Meanwhile, the Dragons, 21-5 on the year, reached this round with a 43-42 bi-district win over Cushing, followed by a 81-76 win over Lufkin Pineywoods. The winner of this game will face the winner of the Grapeland/La Poynor game in the Region 3 Semifinals at Leon High School in Jewett at 5 pm on Friday.
