Tonight, the Big Sandy Wildcats look to take another step in their 2017 playoff journey as they take on the Italy Gladiators in this Class 2A, Region III quarterfinal. Kevin Foster's Wildcats, 23-9 on the season, reached this round with a 67-57 bi-district win over Kerens, followed by a 73-58 area round win over Riesel.  Meanwhile, the Gladiators, 27-6 on the season, reached this round with a 65-60 bi-district win over Lovelady and a 70-39 area round win over Mart.

The winner of this game will face the Tenaha/San Augustine winner at Leon High School on Friday at 7:30 pm on Friday.
