Like they always say, always be faithful to purple and ....grey?

 

hey, I'm a bulldog fan so can't miss the chance to dig on png a little bit...I could personally care less what any school does with the colors of their uniforms, so long as you can read the numbers on the jersey...ozen with the yellow numbers on white jerseys was a bit difficult to read, but again, it's their choice

I usually could not care less what color the uniforms are. I have noticed a lot of Silsbee's uniforms now have a lot of black in them. I am not sure why. The uniform to me is not a big deal in any sport except football. I remember Lumberton had a grey uniform a few years ago that was awful. I could never see the numbers to see who was doing what. They made it extremely tough to detail who did what.

The new PNG alternate helmets for this season. These will replace the previous gray helmets. The white helmets remain. Indians have also added purple pants to their combos. The story of the team being forced to cancel their order isn't true according to Faircloth.

These were the previous alternate helmets. The new ones have more of a metallic look. Officially called Montana gray. The University of Montana uses it.

Having watched PNG games for to many years, mostly from the opposite side of the field, even I miss the purple and white.  Always thought they were classy.  Jmo

I still think they should change the helmet logos to like Michigan.  By having purple helmets with white feathers going front to back

That would look more like Oregon with the wings, but I agree that would be a good look. Call it the Chiefs ceremonial head dress look.

Something similar to this would be really cool with purple and white. Elam had one previously on his FB page that was really neat.

That is ugly. I don't care if it would be purple and white the design is ridiculous. I would not want to see that on my kids head.

It's silver, The memo didn't say no silver.

Why is it ridiculous? I actually think it is classy and a very accurate representation of an Indian head dress.

I remember at BH when we changed the helmets from white with the blue oval and blue stripes to all blue with the wings like the Philly eagles. Us kids loved it, The older fans hated it. 

It only lasted a few years lol.

As a matter of fact I did show it to my son as well as some of his friends on the football team and none of them liked it.
