Does it sound to anyone else that she's claiming that as a young child she had to pretend to like being white to make those around her happy?  Because that's how I read it.  Which is ludicrous.  While some of us may disagree on which characteristics children can be born with, I think we can all safely agree that there's no "black culture" gene that she felt like she had to suppress to keep her parents happy

I'm thinking I might feel like a minority on Monday and change the status of my company to a minority owned business. Maybe I will feel like a Native American and open a casino. (I might have to consult with Elizabeth Warren on this one.) I might feel like a Frenchman and demand a 35 hour workweek. Or maybe I will just feel like a 65 year old and demand my social security payments.

You know Phat, with those profound words, you've answered a question I keep asking myself, why do I not enjoy getting on here like I use to?   It's not the posters, are the things posted in themselves, it's that the Left keeps going further left.  They have gotten so ridiculous, that it defies logic.  Their arguments are so absurd, I feel like I'm reading a very badly written book.  And the fact that half the voters buy into this, is so depressing to me, I can't hardly stomach it.
