Hagar
This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up I wonder where the Freedom From Religion Foundation is on this? You remember them, the same folks that wanted the Kountze Cheerleaders to stop using quotes from The Bible on football banners. Where is the ACLU who gets outraged at a prayer before Texas HS football games? Silence. Why? Here's my opinion, there's silence from all those type organizations because they don't really care about "a religion" in school. Their agenda is only to attack Christianity, and thus crumble the foundation of our nation. Feel free to point out why I'm wrong, with facts. Show me one instance of any atheist organization that has shown indignation of Muslim religious activity anywhere, in any school. I'll wait. BS Wildcats
If I were a parent with kids in that district, I would be raising nine kinds of hell. Seems there is a double standard being set.

baddog
I'll repeat this for those who may have missed it first time around. When I was in high school in the early 70s, we had a Bible class taught during school hours. I see no harm. If you don't like it, there were other halls available to walk down. I think separation of church and state is misunderstood somewhere. I also think "turning the other cheek" is mistaken as being weak. Turning the other cheek to me, means having the ability to let things slide.....be a man. When someone says they hate me and want to kill me because I am Christian, well they won't see the other cheek. They will more than likely be looking down the business end. I will offer up a prayer. Hagar
I'm still waiting for anyone to post a link of any atheist organization, or any "keep religion out of schools" group that has opposed anything pertaining to Muslim prayer or gatherings at a public school. All I'm hearing is crickets. Anyone? Any State? I'm not holding my breath. It's not about not believing in God. It's not about keeping religion out of schools. It's only about bringing down Christianity. As did Stalin and Hitler. See a trend here? Those who don't know history's mistakes, are doomed to repeat them. Freaking Marxist.
