adminbaberuth Posted March 12, 2007 Report Posted March 12, 2007 To Baseball_1989: Sir it did happen! He hit it over the left field fence and it hit on center-top of the AD building some 100 feet or more behind the outfield fence. Good guess, it was 485 feet,In all of BCs rich history that hit ranks with ones by Jerry Gibson 1958, East TX, my dad told me, the one Jerry hit in 58 was wind blown
Baseball1215 Posted March 12, 2007 Report Posted March 12, 2007 I'm terribly sorry to inform you, but it is almost inhumanely possible for a high school kid to hit a baseball 500 feet
cardinal81o7 Posted March 12, 2007 Report Posted March 12, 2007 no it didnt hit on top of that building it hit about the middle of the wall....and it was no 485 thats ridiculous...i'd say 395-405
bulldog4life Posted March 12, 2007 Report Posted March 12, 2007 Havent seen any of those from Dishon, but I did see the one that Legget hit over the centerfield windscreen in Jasper....absolute moon-shot. The wall itself in center is about 370, and the windscreen goes is about 10 feet behind the wall and about 30 feet taller then the wall, and the ball cleared it.....wow....pretty mammoth grand-slam right there.
baseball08 Posted March 12, 2007 Report Posted March 12, 2007 yea all of dishons homers were long but silsbee had about five in the llano tourny and skinner hit a bomb that cleared the lot behind the field i heard...and they had this little bitty guy hit one i could break him in half...i think
