2wedge Posted March 23, 2017 Report Posted March 23, 2017 What's needed? An increase in the UIL's power? Not at all. Leave it to the individual districts to punish with the advisement of the UIL. Quote

For certain offenses, a permanent ban is warranted/necessary. IMO, for egregious acts, I think the UIL should step in, investigate the action, and deliver a firm punishment. Sometimes, a school district can be "too close" to the situation to give an unbiased punishment. L-Train11 and Hagar 2 Quote
pirate52 Posted March 27, 2017 Report Posted March 27, 2017 I agree with Tigers2010. We need to protect officials and the UIL needs the authority to see that they are protected. Tigers2010 1 Quote

I almost choked on my Eskimo Pie when I heard the kid who hit the official in the back was playing again. Quote
