With the cardinals  graduating an outstanding senior class this year there are many questions about the 2017 squad. Can this team fill the big shoes and expectations infornt of them?

We think that they can do alright! Lots of great lettermen returning from the 2016 squad! We all know it's going to be tough for Coach DuBois and his staff but the best players are going to play!

A lot of it depends on how hard the young guys are working in the offseason. If they have gotten the work in this spring and summer we'll be in the mix come district. 

Lots of big holes to fill, though. I feel good about the skill positions on offense and our secondary will return almost as a group. I'm hoping the linebackers (mostly seniors) will come into their own this year. We really missed having dominating forces back there last year. 

I think we'll have lots of answers by week five. WOS, Newton, and Jasper should tell us who we are. We could be playing for the DC again as a best case scenario, but I don't see worst case having us miss the playoffs.

I think the Cards will be fine in 17 and very good in 18. JMO
