Well, here it is. The stage is set. One more district game left and it is a hum-dinger. The four playoff teams have been set, this last game will be for playoff settings. Here are the standings with one game left.

WO-S - With a win undefeated district champs, with a loss co-champs

Silsbee - With a win co-champs, with a loss second seed

Orangefield - With a win third seed, with a loss fourth seed

Bridge City - With a win third seed, with a loss fourth seed

LCM - Out of playoffs

HF - Out of playoffs

Head to head not correct on BC and OF both are 4 win 5 losses winner is 3 seed  and loser is 4 seed

I can't find where I posted this earlier, but if WOS and Silsbee split, what is the tie breaker for seeding? I understand both will be DC's but who goes 1 and 2?

They can do 1 of 3 things to decide:

1.  1 game playoff (seems unlikely)

2.  Coin toss

3.  Either WO-S or Silsbee concedes seeding

Spoke with Coach Nelson last night. If Silsbee defeats WO-S Tuesday night, he will want to play a #1 seed game.

If one team wants to play, the other has to play or concede #1 seed.

I don't see that as a negative thing. One more warm up game before playoffs. Plus it's against quality opponents.

Might as well play another game. Many other districts don't wrap up until Friday night anyway.

I say both teams play someone else this week even if WOS wins Tuesday. Maybe WOS can play that big boy and Big Sandy?
