West Orange-Stark 1 Silsbee 0/FINAL

It is senior night and the District 22-4A district finale as the Silsbee Tigers host the West Orange-Stark Mustangs.  If the Tigers win, they share the district title with the Mustangs with the #1 seed to be determined.  A loss leaves them with the #2 seed.

Michael Nelson's Tigers, 22-3 on the season, improved to 8-1 in district play on Friday with a 12-0 win over Little Cypress-Mauriceville.  Meanwhile, Shea Landry's Mustangs, 20-3 on the season, improved their record to a district leading 9-0 with a 7-3 win over Orangefield on Friday.

The Mustangs took the first game between these two in West Orange on April 7th, 6-5.

High throw, appeared pretty clear that the 1st baseman kept his foot on the bag stretching for the the ball, but the ump got to do the exaggerated "throw took you off the bag" motion and called him safe

Well, it didn't appear to to me, and that if it did it was not by much and he got it back down in time, but if you're over there along the fence then you have a better view than me

Tigers get the leadoff runner on with a single, to 2nd with a WP, but then Dallas strikes out the side.  Going to the 5th at 0-0

Infield hit, sac bunt got him to 2nd, fc runner out at 3rd, K to end the inning.  Going bottom 5 tied at 0

WOS scores first.  Walk, sac bunt gets him to 2nd, K, IBB puts runners on first and 2nd.  Throwing error at 2nd on a soft grounder allows the run to score from 2nd.  Runners on 1st and 3rd with two outs in the top of the 6th
