TxTan
Game 1 had it all...great pitching from Sundgren, as expected...The error monster plagued Jasper early and was very costly for runs crossing for Sislbee; no excuses provided...heck of a rally in the 7th for Jasper to take lead from an 8-2 deficit...and then Uribe owned the moment. Know young men on both sides of the diamond and it has been an absolute pleasure to have watched them all of these years. Let's finish this series leaving it between the lines. Good luck
ST413
One question did Jasper save their top pitcher for today knowing they were facing Sundgren last night and would be at home today?
Silsbee92
Its always a risk not throwing your top pitcher for Game 1. A strategic move that almost payed off for Jasper in those terms. If score would have held, then Jasper is up 1-0 and has their top pitcher available for game 2. It can work both ways. Me, Im throwing my best at the time at whoever and ride the results. ST413
Definitely almost paid off after a nightmare 1/2 inning for the Tigers. Tiger batters showed good discipline last night as some of those pitches were just too inviting to swing at.
