Anybody tried this place in Port Neches? I have eaten there twice and both times it was killer. I give PN an A+ on this one.

I had the meatloaf first time, and you really have to make a great meatloaf to impress me, and it was delicious. Second time I had the breakfast.....eggs over medium, hash browns, and pan sausage with toast. I'm making myself hungry just talking about it.

Entire staff is friendly and good waitressing. I will go back.

Drive past Port Neches park about two blocks, it's on the corner on your right. At first it appears as a white house, which it may have been converted, I don't know. You will see the cars. I promise that you will love the food and hospitality.

Did you happen to notice what their hours are?  Sounds like a place I'd like.

Not sure the exact hours. They serve breakfast, close for an hour or so to ready for lunch, then open again. Call to make sure so you don't waste a trip. It is worth the trip

Had the hamburger steak, cream corn, rice and gravy yesterday. Also had a cup of seafood gumbo. Excellent as usual, and I am very picky about my gumbo. Very safe place to eat. Had a PN cop and three DPS in there.

I've been there four times now, and at least one Cop, DPS, or Sheriff Deputy has been there each time.

I'll be there tomorrow for the beef tips.

Ok, y'all quit this posting of beef tips, gumbo, etc etc..  Sitting here at 10:12 pm.  Was fine until I got on this durn thread.  Now I'm hungry.   Shame.
