D-villefan Posted March 9, 2007 Report Posted March 9, 2007 Any good ones out there?Give name, school, stats.
GoatHerder Posted March 9, 2007 Report Posted March 9, 2007 Marc Esway will dominate the 100meter this year in 24-2A..His first meet last night in a 3A and 4A meet he placed 2nd...too much strength for a small 2A district to hold...made it to state last year and well on his way again
BUCman Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 I would not say dominate just yet. Anahuac will have some sprinters as well as East Chambers. Kountze will also have a couple of kids that can run. It should be a pretty good district meet, but E.C. starts a new tradition this year.
under_where? Posted March 12, 2007 Report Posted March 12, 2007 Yeah, Esway is fast for this district, but dont forget about one of the best athlete in the area....... Kelby Shandy-Kerby. Kelby may have suffered a injury that caused him to showcase his speed in football. By the time district gets here count on him to beat out Esway in the sprinting events. Not only does this kid have talent he as a ton of heart,
whsalum Posted March 13, 2007 Report Posted March 13, 2007 If the knee holds up this will be interesting.Esway can fly.The track team at Warren is a thing of the past unfortunately. They used to field a team every year that could compete with the best of em.It has died a slow and painful death.
D-villefan Posted March 13, 2007 Author Report Posted March 13, 2007 Does warren only have 1 good sprinter? or more?
jackleg Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 First of all, he got third. and I wouldn't call the corrigan meet a 3 and 4a meet. Kirbyville and diboll were the only 3a schools there.. BTW, corrigan (a 2a)went 1 &2 in the 100... Enjoy district because the regional meet will be brutal...Marc Esway will dominate the 100meter this year in 24-2A..His first meet last night in a 3A and 4A meet he placed 2nd...too much strength for a small 2A district to hold...made it to state last year and well on his way again
BoBmArLeY Posted March 19, 2007 Report Posted March 19, 2007 Does warren only have 1 good sprinter? or more?No i bet they got more than one good sprinter just none that are really good........ ya know lol.....
K-TOWNLB Posted March 21, 2007 Report Posted March 21, 2007 KOUNTZE WILL COME OUT ON TOP WITH THE SPRINT RELAY AND THE 4X200M, AND JUNIOR THOMAS WOLCOTT WILL WIN THE 200M, AND FRESH, DEVIN BRAY SHOULD WIN THE 100M.
Guest Macintosh_1 Posted March 21, 2007 Report Posted March 21, 2007 KOUNTZE WILL COME OUT ON TOP WITH THE SPRINT RELAY AND THE 4X200M, AND JUNIOR THOMAS WOLCOTT WILL WIN THE 200M, AND FRESH, DEVIN BRAY SHOULD WIN THE 100M. yeah, i really don't think that is gonna happen.
D-villefan Posted March 21, 2007 Author Report Posted March 21, 2007 How much does devin bray run in the 100?
SteelerCzy Posted April 2, 2007 Report Posted April 2, 2007 Beau Burch from Deweyville will compete very well in the 200m and Joe Dooley will also compete very well in the Mile.
DP#1FAN Posted April 2, 2007 Report Posted April 2, 2007 I agree SteelerCzy. Those 2 young men give 100%.
D-villefan Posted April 2, 2007 Author Report Posted April 2, 2007 Dont forget about Stephen gibson he got 5th in the 100 at the HJ meet he is getting better every week he will do great when district comes around.
D-villefan Posted April 13, 2007 Author Report Posted April 13, 2007 Deweyville boys wins 3rd place at the meet!
DP#1FAN Posted April 13, 2007 Report Posted April 13, 2007 Congrats Deweyville boys track team. Not bad for a team that has no speed!
Fishingislife Posted April 13, 2007 Report Posted April 13, 2007 Macontosh_1, I really do think that happened!! Way to go Kountze!
D-villefan Posted April 13, 2007 Author Report Posted April 13, 2007 Macontosh_1, I really do think that happened!! Way to go Kountze!Yeah he also said we will get 7th and we are not that good. we sending 11 people to regionals.
check3 Posted April 13, 2007 Report Posted April 13, 2007 Marc Esway will dominate the 100meter this year in 24-2A..His first meet last night in a 3A and 4A meet he placed 2nd...too much strength for a small 2A district to hold...made it to state last year and well on his way againHey goatherder what did esway go to State in?I looked at Texas track.com and he did not run at the regional meet. I was just wondering what he made it in...
WarriorSports Posted April 16, 2007 Report Posted April 16, 2007 yes Esway made it to regionals..the district meet was just this week but he indeed made it to the next round. Not a great finish in the 3rd spot but good enough for now...
