The Big Sandy Wildcats look to take 1 step closer toward a 2A State Championship as they begin their Region IV quarterfinal best of 3 series against the Flatonia Bulldogs.  Jacob Hooker's Wildcats, 27-2 on the season reached this round with a 5-0 bi-district win over Snook followed by a area round series sweep over Weimer (5-4, 19-9).  Meanwhile, the Bulldogs, 16-9 on the season, reached this round with a 2-1 bi-district series win over Holland (10-7, 1-5, 4-0) followed by a 2-0 area series sweep of Burton (7-4, 12-3).

The winner of this series will face the winner of the Ozona/Center Point series.
