Bridge City 2 Silsbee 1/Gm2-FINAL/Bridge City wins series 2-0

The Silsbee Tigers and Bridge City Cardinals will determine today which one of them will go on and which one will go home as Game 2 of this Class 4A, Region III Quarterfinal commences.  Thursday night, Chad Landry's Cardinals bested Michael Nelson's Tigers 11-1 to take a 1-0 series lead.

Should a Game 3 be necessary, it will take place 30 minutes following the conclusion of Game 2. 

The winner of this series will face the winner of the China Spring/Liberty Hill series.  Liberty Hill leads that series 1-0 with Game 2 scheduled for 1 pm this afternoon.
