Hagar Posted June 18, 2017 Report Posted June 18, 2017 I don't know if it'll get circulating good, but looks like somebody going to get a lot of rain. Quote

tvc184 Posted June 20, 2017 Report Posted June 20, 2017 I think all of the computer models are a joke. They are a brief snapshot in time for conditions that might exist at that moment only. Although some are crazier than others, I have seen no computer model that consistently shows wherr a storm will land at more than maybe 48 hours out and then only maybe. Quote
PhatMack19 Posted June 20, 2017 Author Report Posted June 20, 2017 My flight from Omaha lands in Houston tomorrow at 1pm. I may get stuck here and have to watch more baseball LumRaiderFan and TxHoops 2 Quote
TxHoops Posted June 20, 2017 Report Posted June 20, 2017 I'm evacuating to Evadale. Tell the wife to get to cooking RebGP. (Just don't tell her I said that please...) bullets13 1 Quote
PhatMack19 Posted June 22, 2017 Author Report Posted June 22, 2017 Well Kerry, I guess I would rather it do that to our East..... pdawg119, TxHoops and bullets13 3 Quote
Englebert Posted June 22, 2017 Report Posted June 22, 2017 I'm guessing the title meant to say "shifts East". Hagar 1 Quote
bullets13 Posted June 22, 2017 Report Posted June 22, 2017 Can we all agree that it would be a great idea if they used stripper names to name all storms one year? This idea struck me when my tired eyes misread Cindy as Candy awhile ago. Englebert 1 Quote

tvc184 Posted June 22, 2017 Report Posted June 22, 2017 Maybe it’s code for crappy weather on the way. Quote

(Just don't tell her I said that please...) No problem Hoops. You'll be safe up here in the snow covered peaks of Evadale. We'll heat you up a bowl of Raman noodles. Nothing like it after snow skiing all day. TxHoops 1 Quote

C'mon tvc, you know it's not a Super Storm unless its bad and hits New Orleans or any kind of storm on the east coast. And Jim Catore, what a lick. Literally, a drama queen. TxHoops 1 Quote
PhatMack19 Posted August 23, 2017 Author Report Posted August 23, 2017 Harvey is out there brewing. Most predict it will hit around Corpus, but we should get a lot of rain. This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up Quote
PhatMack19 Posted August 23, 2017 Author Report Posted August 23, 2017 They are calling for possible record floods. I'm not sure why the Sabine River Authority don't slowly start releasing some water. Especially since they flooded half of East Texas last time. Hagar Posted August 24, 2017 Report Posted August 24, 2017 I've been watching Bostwick since he first come on Ch 6 as a wet nosed kid, and based on his, and other forecasters, he's the best. He does think that some areas of Texas may get record rains,. It's going to be a wet one. Don't worry about filling the car with gas, make sure the Evinrude has plenty.
