SD_2 Posted June 26, 2017 Report Posted June 26, 2017 I'm close friends with Westbrook and he told me Coach Thompson DID contact him about going back, and appreciated the offer, but he was going to stay at Jasper. walldrill, chukslegacy and Hupernikomen 3 Quote

Coach Morgan Posted June 30, 2017 Report Posted June 30, 2017 What is the talent pool looking like for the coming year is WOS? Could that be a reason Landry picked this time to move on? Quote
Fastballupandin Posted July 1, 2017 Report Posted July 1, 2017 Yes, does anyone know what the returning pitching and catching is like at WOS. Besides Chad Dallas that is. Quote

The last 2 (Lafitte and Standley) have left for better jobs at larger school districts. Nothing especially abnormal is going on. Just the luck of the draw. Quote

That's the best available job in the area and Cornell Thompson would gain a great defensive football coach by hiring him as well. Just a feeling. We will see though. Quote
png9mon Posted July 11, 2017 Report Posted July 11, 2017 Jeremy Seymour is taking over the head baseball coaching job at Hamshire-Fannett. He was a great player at Nederland. He also was an assistant football coach at HF last year & was successful when handed the soccer coaching duties last year for HF. Now that he can concentrate on Baseball, and not Soccer, baseball being his passion, he will do everything in his power to bring success to the HF baseball program. Get after 'em Coach Seymour! Wish you all the best at HF! glassjoe and BelichikYoSelf 2 Quote
