Wow, another Chris Stroud thread?  Yes, local boy doing good.  Where are all the Pea Patch golfers (sadly, I never played that historic course - I  wasn't good enough, where hustlers abound lol).  Anyway, this old Vidor Pirate turned Evadale Rebel is, for thr first time in a long time, excited about the PGA Championship.  Chris is tied for fourth at -5 with two others.  

Weekend golf in a Major in one of the last groups.  The pressure will be at maximum for him.  Here's hoping he has another good round.  Come on, you dadgum PNG Indian.

Chris Stroud at -7 tied for second, one out of the lead.

Had a bogey, but came back with two birdies.

Once again tied for second at -8, one stroke out after 8 holes.

Thru 15, Chris is still -8, and alone in second place, but he's two strokes back of leader, Kisner at -10.

As most of you know, if it stays like that, he'll be in the final group tomorrow.
