Anyone have any practice news out of PN-G? I have been sick and unable to attend?

Defense has a lot of holes to fill, small but "disciplined", offense has got some kiddo that would be the 15th best athlete at another school in the area at the helm, kicking game has question marks, overall though, an electric "atmosphere".

Spot on. You left out the team doesn't look near as white as they did in the spring thanks to summer tans.

I know the defense is going to be our biggest question mark, but how does the O-line look. If they can get after it, we will be really hard to stop.

Hey what about that Dakota Baxter kid? He was on varsity as sophomore and got some PT last year at DB. Is he still playing or did he move since nobody is bring his name up? From what I remember he looked pretty good as sophomore.

He's still there. He'll be starting in the secondary.

Going to be a great scrimmage Friday. This is the type of competition both PNG and WOS need so they can expose each other's weaknesses. WOS will have a very young team but don't let the "returning starters" fool you. Most of them had dang near as much or more PT last season because of the lopsided scores. As you PNG people say, your D is going to be the question mark. WOS question marks will be at QB and defense, mostly linebacker. We need to find another "bell cow" like Justin Brown at the second level of defense and see what CW can do at QB. However, like previously stated, CW has had a crap load of PT behind Jack Dallas the past couple of years. Heard he was very intelligent kid and learned a lot about reading the defense from JD3. Also wish I could be there so I can watch Roshaun(sp?) in person. Heard he's a helluva QB. Either way, it's great for both teams.

I'm ready can't wait to get there tomorrow evening to watch gonna  be a great scrimmage to kick off the season, just wish it was the real thing and not practice. Then next Week will be West Brook, their QB is one of my ex coworkers son, should be fun to get to see him in action, have heard a lot about him in his younger years from his Dad Marcus

Shhhhhhhhhhh!  Don't ask silly questions.  PN-G does not have size, talent, speed, athleticism, or any of the necessary ingredients to be competitive.  We are just that little old school from landlocked Port Neches and Groves where there is no talent, coaching, or will to compete and win.  Just keep talking about PAM, Central, Vidor, Nederland, and the improving Lumberton and Ozen squads.  If you must discuss PN-G, then stay focused on the small DBs who do the best they can to keep everything in front of them and the undersized LBs who have to use what little quickness they have to avoid all of the D1 talent on opposing teams steamrolling through the district.  It's high school football...where desire, technique, and having small modest amounts of talent means nothing.  On the PN-G OL, don't mention #74, #79 or others.  Surely, it is myth about size over at PN-G.
