Newton is no. 3 in 3A-2 ,,The other teams ahead of Newton are 3A-1. Gunter and Lexington are the two teams ranked ahead of Newton in Div.2.

Four days until scrimmage. Newton scrimmaging Jasper should be a good match up. Jasper is going to be real good this year.

The old coach must know something that a few of us at Newton already know. Newton new QB is a junior that the coaches have been waiting on since jr. high. This kid is a great athlete. Baring injuries, Newton should be better this year then they were last year.
