According to what I read in " The Vindicator " was suppose to be ready for 2017 season. Of course you got to factor in weather and other delays.  Just like when Jasper built there new facility it opened a lot later than expected because of bleacher issues.

Good to see Anahuac get an upgrade on their field. It still looks like it did a couple of years ago when I played back in the 80's and it wasn't new back then. Good luck Anahuac !!!!

It is amazing to me that so many smaller districts can afford "turf".  Maybe private donors help?  Maybe it's cheaper than it use to be?  Echo - amazing.

$758 million bond they passed I've heard anywhere from $61-78 million is what it cost. 7 schools will share this facility

Mind boggling.  I guess the next step is for some perennial last placed team in a District to build one deep underground.  If some catastrophic event happens, their team could emerge and be SC's

That would be nice I just don't see that type of bond that would pass here in southeast Texas. I don't know why Katy didn't go ahead and build a couple of these indoors.

Any pics of Anahuac new stadium 

[About a week ago]

Coach Speights said that the school is aiming for the stadium to be finished by the end of September. From what I saw the other day, weather is going to have to help for them to accomplish that.

Looks to be about the size of East Chambers, maybe bigger on the vistor's side. Not for sure, the new field house looks like it is going to nice.
