gary-us-bonds Posted August 19, 2017 Report Posted August 19, 2017 For the first time in four years I can say that Lee looked pretty good out there. Couldn't stick around for all of varsity. Madison was over an hour late, so it didn't get started until 8:45. Lee freshmen were much better than Madison. Lee varsity was probably about even with Madison. Lee defense didn't allow a first down in the first 15 plays and also picked off a pass. The Lee offense was moving well until the starting qb got a little dinged up. I believe he is a sophomore. A bit small but extremely slippery and fast enough. Lee couldn't move after that when they tried to throw it more with the second qb. I actually think Lee could be a little more competitive this year assuming no injuries. They don't have any depth. Quote
