TxHoops Posted September 4, 2017 Report Posted September 4, 2017 No sumlin is great. Just needs a little more time. Last I heard, they run this State! in all seriousness, I didn't see a single snap of this game. Took 2 hours plus to get back from PA tonight. What the hell happened?? UTfanatic 1 Quote

OldTimer Posted September 4, 2017 Report Posted September 4, 2017 If Sumlin has a job tomorrow I will be surprised. Quote

He has a better chance of getting one of those nifty aggy extensions before getting fired tonight. Unless they get more video tonight. I can almost guarantee when will be Stumblin Sumlin mode. Quote
bullets13 Posted September 4, 2017 Report Posted September 4, 2017 Disastrous collapse, and I'm not getting on here gloating. That was unbelievable! What a disastrous weekend for Texas college football in general Englebert and TexazBall 2 Quote
no-look Posted September 4, 2017 Report Posted September 4, 2017 I need some rolaids. My supper is coming back up. Quote

On another note, how can someone chew gum so emphatically as sumlin and never bite his tongue? For 2 1/2 quarters, they forgot about the last 1 1/2 though. Quote
TexazBall Posted September 4, 2017 Report Posted September 4, 2017 Wow, I left after the Ags went up 31-3 thinking it was over.. I can't believe this Quote
Eazy Posted September 4, 2017 Report Posted September 4, 2017 Nice job Sumlin. Your team has dominated the whole game. All you have to do is not get outscored 35-0 in the last 1.5 quarters. Maybe that senior QB on the bench could help. Quote
TxHoops Posted September 4, 2017 Report Posted September 4, 2017 Can we all just finally admit that TCU was an upgrade? UTfanatic 1 Quote
TXHORN_ET Posted September 4, 2017 Report Posted September 4, 2017 I guess that takes care of being 5-0 heading into the Alabama game. Nicholls comes to Kyle next week so everything will be back to normal. You don't think sumlin will get kiffened on the tarmac do ya? Surely he'll get to fly back with the team. UTfanatic 1 Quote
88Warrior Posted September 4, 2017 Report Posted September 4, 2017 All time low peroid for Texas college football....IMO.... embarrassing.... TxHoops 1 Quote
TXHORN_ET Posted September 4, 2017 Report Posted September 4, 2017 That's going to be a long ride back to College Station!! Quote
TxHoops Posted September 4, 2017 Report Posted September 4, 2017 I really don't take any joy in the state of college football in this state. But I remember being ridiculed for having A&M has "zero chance" to make the playoffs once that infamous initial CFP poll last year. Some got a really good laugh. Just read that since that poll was released, A&M is 2-6. And oh yeah, those two wins were against UTSA and New Mexico State. TXHORN_ET and UTfanatic 2 Quote
TxHoops Posted September 4, 2017 Report Posted September 4, 2017 And 88Warrior said it best, all time low for Texas college football. Embarrassing. Come on TCU and Tech! Quote
TXHORN_ET Posted September 4, 2017 Report Posted September 4, 2017 On a positive note, the Aggies got to play in the Rose Bowl. UTfanatic 1 Quote
TXHORN_ET Posted September 4, 2017 Report Posted September 4, 2017 Seriously though, what kind of message did the coaching staff send to Hubanek by keeping him on the bench? He might not be the answer going forward, but the guy has stuck with the program year after year. Hindsight is 20/20, but imo he would've brought the victory home. Is he hurt, in the dog house, or what? Quote

Is he hurt, in the dog house, or what? Mond was 3-17 passing. I can't run like him but I'm pretty sure I could complete more than 17% of my passes. Hubaneck is a very serviceable QB. No clue why he was never in the game. Quote
PhatMack19 Posted September 4, 2017 Report Posted September 4, 2017 A&M would have been better off if they would have just kneeled the hall the last quarter and a half instead of trying to throw the ball. Quote

baddog Posted September 4, 2017 Report Posted September 4, 2017 I didn't' see the game at all. Satellite not giving me local channels yet. From what I have read, Ags built a huge lead running the ball down their throats. Wrecking crew was holding UCLA to 10 or less. Ags end up throwing the ball with a huge lead......RUN CLOCK! Cant tell what all happened, but must have been some pick sixes and fumble returns. Maybe a punt return.....wasn't posted. Will look at stat page today. Quote
TXHORN_ET Posted September 4, 2017 Report Posted September 4, 2017 You're sitting there with 2 hosses in the background and continue to pass pass pass in the 4th quarter. Who here wants to tackle either one of those. Ford will flat run over you. Williams is possibly one of, if not the best in the nation and will be worthy of Heisman consideration at season's end. It's a shame Sumlin didn't take charge and have his OC run the dang ball. This loss isn't on the kids, it's on the Head Coach and his staff. Too many times coaches take credit for the win and are ready to throw blame elsewhere with a loss. "Point the thumb, not the finger!" UTfanatic 1 Quote
