Lions Pride 2021 Posted August 31, 2017 Report Posted August 31, 2017 With the water out in Beaumont until at least Monday, I would imagine BISD is not opening Tuesday. And with most of Orange County still without power, they have to cancel school for a few more day. I hope for a speedy recovery in the Triangle. Quote
WOSgrad Posted September 1, 2017 Author Report Posted September 1, 2017 Just received this message from Dr. Patterson at Orangefield ISD. It is the first but I don't think it will be the last: Due to the recent flooding throughout the area, Orangefield ISD will not hold classes for the immediate future. At this time, we want to allow our families and district patrons to be able to focus on the care of their family, friends and neighbors. On behalf of the school district, we pray for everyone's speedy recovery and safety. We will continue to post updates with more accurate timelines as that information becomes available. Our OFAM is BOBCAT STRONG! God bless all of you. Dr Stephen Patterson. MrUmp1 1 Quote

I manage a small business and the thought of where we go from here is overwhelming, but I can't imagine what school district officials are going through right now. Where do we even begin.... Quote
