If the dates on drivetexas hold, the best route might be for the Wildcats as this point will be to take 96 to Buna and jump on 62 and take that all the way down to 73 in Bridge City and take that to Winnie. 326 between Sour Lake and Hwy 90 and 1-10 between Vidor and Rose City are closed until Friday. Expect delays at the Veterans Memorial bridge between Bridge City and Port Arthur. Quote
WOSgrad Posted September 5, 2017 Author Report Posted September 5, 2017 Well, looking at drivetexas.org, the roadway situation seems to be improving. Southbound 96 is open. I-10 is now passable between Beaumont and the Texas-Louisiana border. 327 between Kountze and Silsbee is now clear. Heck, even 69 between Lumberton and Beaumont is now passable. Quote

Hagar Posted September 6, 2017 Report Posted September 6, 2017 FM 105 between Evadale and Vidor is open to I-10, and I think I-10 is open, at least to Bmt. Thank goodness the water is receding. Quote
