depending on what formation PAM decides to use, you might see a formation with a 3 headed monster in the backfield similar to when singlton was qb with holmes and romar.i think this game will be alot closer than most think with PAM edging central. expect alot of penalties and mistakes. i don't expect either team to settle down till mid second qtr. oh and if none of memorials band got displaced, that battle will be won by PAM also

It won't be because of coaching or should I say a lack of this year.  This group of Seniors has a lot of built up frustration to release.  Days before the West Brook game, Bruin players were at a Central practice outside the gate with lawn chairs and music playing.  Coach Nelson and staff kept the boys focused during practice and they were expecting to be able to release that energy against the Bruins.  Well Harvey had other plans.  Well Pasadena Rayburn got some of it last week, so much so that I heard their Baylor commit RB wants to leave that school.  Just what I heard, don't know how true it is.  Now I know the Titans are a different caliber team but the one thing Central has going for them, is there is no film of whats going on at 88 Jaguar Dr.  So Harvey did help in that manner.  Totally different on both side of the ball from the last 4 years.

Despite it being on a Wednesday, this should be game of the week...

That rumor of him wanting to leave has been around. An HISD school keeps going at him hard without a care of the UIL rules.

Man, your football team may lead the series but your band isn't even on the same planet with us.  :)

That's why PAM won every battle of the band contest they participated in?? Oh it was in the same class as central and central was at a couple of the same ones memorial was at. Central band sounds like trashy hisd bands now.

Some of these young men have gone through a terrible disaster and watched their community get ravished by Harvey. Football for some of them will be their get away from the real world and let them enjoy the game they love to play and we love to watch. I pray for the safety of both teams and for a great game.

I expect a high intensity game, with a lot of passion being on displayed. Regardless of the outcome of this game, just realize some of these kids are going back to shelters or living with family. Their world has been turned upside down.

I will be in the press box for this one. Looking forward to it.

I was hoping you wouldn't be :).  So I guess that means I don't have to do the game updates?  I can just sit back and enjoy what's about to happen?  I thought the Lumberton and PN-G game would be the best game going on Wednesday and more to your liking...:)

Come down and holla at me.  I'll be on the upper deck, reserved seating section right up against the railing.

Man, I'll be honest.  Besides at the football games, I don't keep up with our band.  I have 7 kids and none of them are in the band, they all play sports.  It's just part of the Friday night experience, well in this case, Wednesday night...
