John Tyler is coming off a 27-23 ugly win over the Ennis Lions. Ennis offense did its job by keeping the Cujo offense on the sidelines. JT on the other hand, did makes some good changes in the second half to put out the win. However, Cujo still has some things to clean up going into the game with Lufkin. On that note, the Lions did cute out of the fumbles that plague them in the first game against Plano West. 

Lufkin is coming off a good win over Nacogdoches. Where the Panthers won 40 something to 28. This is third straight win over Nacogdoches with help the Panthers move in the win column. Now Lufkin Focus their attention on JT in the attempt to break a three game losing streak to the Lions. While JT is looking to make it four straight win over the Panthers, and the straight win over Lufkin in Lufkin.
