Great game Tigers...Don't know what was said after Jasper took the 2nd half possession and drove down for a TD but whatever it was turned your whole attitude around.....defense and offense became a different team....Saw some crushing hits...hits for loss...gashing runs on offense from our backs and QB...KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK TIGERS

Barnes got dinged up, but it was probably cramps.  He came back in some plays later and seemed ok.

Hate seeing the Dogs fade in a game like that.  And 2nd week in a row they have a shot at the end and do very little with it.  Looks like the pieces are there to do well.  Coaches will figure out where to put and how to use those pieces.

Congrats to Silsbee.  Always a great atmosphere when these two play.

I was one of the ones saying he wasn't dual threat, and after last night I'll man up and say I was wrong.

Now, I do believe the dogs were keying in on Adonis and to my knowledge silsbee has not shown that zone read this year yet, so it took jasper completely off guard. Which helped Collins have some success running. Be expecting other teams to plan for that now. Nonetheless, he did a great job running the ball last night.

The last two years, Jasper has had significant leads in the 3rd Q over Silsbee

2016: 19-0 (Silsbee wins 20-19)

2017: 23-7 (Silsbee wins 30-23)

He may not have the speed or moves of the past qbs but he did show good decision making in the zone read to go along with good strong running.  I have to say I was a little surprised Adonis had 100+ yards, mainly because of how good Jasper did limiting him to short yardage on many of his runs.

So the Jasper QB was into something when he was pointing at one of the Silsbee players while being escorted off the field.  I didn't see exactly what happened..

My understanding it was a clean hit. The QB was running with the football.

I don't think he was running the ball. I think it was a sweep and he was carrying out the fake bootleg. I did not see him get hit so I can't do whether it was a cheap shot or not

There was another hit on the qb that the flag got thrown on. Might be the one your thinking of, and your correct he was running the ball just stepped out of bounds before he got hammered. But I think T-daddy was talking about the one later in the game. Jasper qb left the game after hat hit.
