For one thing Orangefield should have been rated higher. They are better than any team in region 4. Second how in the heck did Wos or Silsbee not be in the top 20? WOS made it to the sweet 16 and was shown no love by the TABC. There you go both polls(TGCA & TABC) are goofy. There was several teams ranked ahead of WOS that only made it to the round of 32. If they went by strenght of schedule, 21 3A wins hands down.

Im a little miffed about these rankings myself. Congrats to Orangefield and Lumberton for at least making the top 20. But Silsbee beat Lumberton twice, West Orange three times, split with Orangefield, beat Kennard and was district champs in a brutal district...and won 29 games! How does that relate to being bumped out of the top 20?

I agree with you bball4life. Silsbee should have been in the top 20 and so should have WOS. There was 5 teams in the top 20 that made it to the round of 32. One of them should have been Silbee and the other WOS. WOS made it to the round of 16. ???
