WO-S just took the #1 current spot in the state with 28 in a row after Bremond lost tonight snapping a 49 game run.  I believe this is the first time since Hull-Daisetta set a national record back in the 1930's that a local team has held that spot. Aledo, Gunter and DeSoto are tied behind us at 19 wins. Plano kept WO-S out of #1 during the streak from 1986-1988.

This team will not lose for another two months at least. Will go 8-0 in regular season and most likely make semifinals, so that's 12-0 at least. 39-40 straight, that's pretty long.

I'd have to say WOS shouldn't face a possible loss until Cuero in the semi finals. MAYBE vs Giddings in the second or third round

Wimberley is a top 10 program pretty much every year. Not sure what they put in the water there but excellent football program. Oh yeah Bach on topic. Dayton has extended their winning streak to 1.

Silsbee now has a one game winning streak. We're happy if we get to 3. I can only remember a couple times we reached nine maybe once we reached 10.
