No there was no flag thrown, but he did warn the Jasper Coach for being on the field and questioning the hit. Lol

Definitely uncalled for... but since we are discussing questionable plays.

How about the video for the hit across the middle?  Maybe we should upload that

and start a thread for taunting over an injured player.

Ill be waiting for the video.

Leave it to the coaches from both teams.

Coach Smith has already proven that he can and will take action.

Was the play you speak of a legal hit?  The hit in the above video is definitely not.   That's the kind of thing that's get's a player thrown out of a game.  Or worse.

There is some question to that, it definitely wasn't of the same type as this one.  But definitely might have been a helmet to helmet or similar call. But, and I didn't see it myself, the taunting part would definitely be reason for a call.

That was just a big hit in which the player was fired up after. In the heat of the moment I could see where the ref could have thrown a flag, and I can also understand why he didn't too.

both players should be reprimanded, and as Silsbee92 stated, we'll see which coach makes the right decision. Hopefully both will.

I've only seen one video that ended about a second after the hit. But I trust your judgement. I'm sure coaches are watching the film and evaluating the situation.

Only video that has been posted is the obvious late hit.

We'll see if any others surface.  I myself, remain doubtful.

I would be willing to bet that he does. Don't forget that silsbee suspended an all American in basketball last year. It's been done before on a much bigger scale.

Just pointing out the obvious double standard.

And the fact that the above highlighted was said by you... says it all.  IF that is true, then the thinking is the same on both sides of the field.

2) Guess we'll see then on coaches decisions.  And I did say coaches, as in both teams.

Have not seen the play you speak of, but I don't see the comparison between taunting and a complete cheap shot.  There is no place for neither action in the game.  But these players learn from watching the trash talking in college and the pros.

The taunt was done after a big hit that knocked a silsbee player out of the game. He was taken out by ambulance. That's why it's being compared.

Didn't Jasper late hot the hell out of Jay McGuire back in 1993 ending his high school career. I was there with a front row seat for that.
