TXHORN_ET
The team looked more energized the past two games when Sam was in. I dunno, I'll continue to do my coaching here from the couch.
TXHORN_ET
Defense has to be worn out. Pretty tired myself, but I think I'll hafta stay up and watch the postgame show.

But as you say, with this OL, tough to do much of anything. 5 injuries is tough to overcome. If they don't get better fast, a very talented defense is going to get worn out over the course of a season.
TxHoops
These guys are ridiculous. Any official will tell you that you can literally find a holding every play. This crew is trying to prove it.

PhatMack19
Good win. Texas may be ranked Top 15 next week.
TxHoops
I will take it. Not sure why we don't take a knee there. No sense getting another O lineman getting rolled up on.
TxHoops
Orlando has apparently figured out what the supposed defensive mastermind Strong and Bedford could not: how to coach a defense full of 4 and 5 star athletes. O line has me scared to death but this defense? Hook'em, UTfanatic, TXHORN_ET and 1 other

TXHORN_ET
I have a feeling the Aggies will move into the top 25 after beating South Carolina Saturday. That is unless Kirk goes down with an injury. He's the difference maker in this one.

TXHORN_ET
Texas has a couple of those extra days to heal up a bit before the k-state game. They'll hafta send an early message to Ertz and pound him every play.
TXHORN_ET
Not so sure aTm would've wanted any part of Sam early this season.

ESPN will love pumping up that Top 25 beatdown with Bama the next week.
Footballfan1209
I think Carter needs more touches, he just seems to have a different gear then Warren and Porter. UTfanatic and TxHoops

AggiesAreWe
That's an impressive showing by the horn defense. Cyclones were averaging 41 points and 466 yards of offense. 7 points and 256 total yards last night. bullets13 and OldTimer

I was hoping it wasn't a fluke against a USC team that runs the ball really well, but only gave up 10 yards last night against a team with one of the better RBs in the league, who was averaging over 100 a game. Unfortunately in the Big 12, stopping the run isn't as huge as it is in some other conferences.
Tigers2010
Would have loved to see Texas stay with Sam. Started slow against USC, but man he found himself in the 2nd half and he led Texas into a classic with the #4 team in the country. Had he not fumbled, may have won it. That probably isn't near the same game had Shane been playing.
