AggiesAreWe Posted September 28, 2017 Report Posted September 28, 2017 Going to attend the Emery-Weiner at High Island game tonight. Looking forward to most likely the only 6-Man game I will see this year (and just the 5th overall). RETIREDFAN1 and prepballfan 2 Quote
L-Train11 Posted September 28, 2017 Report Posted September 28, 2017 Dumb question, but how does that work? Is it kinda like the 7 on 7 style? Quote

They do have pads and tackle in 6-Man. I am far from a 6-Man expert, so I will concede to any who follow the game to explain the 6-Man rules. L-Train11 and prepballfan 2 Quote
lostaussie Posted September 28, 2017 Report Posted September 28, 2017 I actually have the High Island/Union Hill game marked on my calendar for Saturday Oct.21st. It will be my first game. RETIREDFAN1 1 Quote

Tyler Dixson Posted September 29, 2017 Report Posted September 29, 2017 It’s hard to explain the rules of 6 man without actually seeing it happen because a lot of it is different, while also a lot is the same. I would recommend every to go catch at least one game a season if you ever have he opportunity. Quote
About a week ago Posted September 29, 2017 Report Posted September 29, 2017 AAW and I was talking tonight. What makes 6-man football very interesting is how there a very subtle rule changes, but make a big difference. 2 point extra point kicks, but 1 point if you run a normal play. 1st and 15. Shorter and narrower field. All players are eligible receivers. It is very exciting to watch, one missed tackle and it's going for 6. L-Train11 1 Quote
