First 6-man game, and it was very entertaining. High Island is a very solid football team, and should make a deep run this season. QB Derek DeMoss, WR Kole Rodriguez, and WR Kade Myers are good football players for any level. Coach Bronkhorst has a his guys rolling, expecting big things out of the Cardinals. Big win tonight!

Lot's of offense in 1st half, defense had it's way in 3rd Q.

HI has got a couple of players who could start for many schools here in our coverage area.

My second game seeing High Island in person this year. The guys are right. The Cardinals have 2 or 3 players that could play for many 11-man teams in our area. Some definite size advantages for Coach Bronkhorst’s team.
