3rd week straight....all the way to the wire. (this one went well past it) Couldnt be more proud of the heart these kids have shown every snap, every game. For a small in numbers, small in stature bunch...they will flat bring it. No matter the score, after the last whistle blows...these boys have nothing left, they leave it all on the field. They never give up.... Who could ask for anything more?  Shipload of heart!  Great job Pirates

Should have ran that buck sweep on the first overtime seriies. 5 gets to the corner with good blocking, you can't stop him. Showed it in the second possession which was a touchdown. Outcome would have been the same but we would have gotten home a little quicker. Lol

Game was alot closer than I originally anticipated but a good showering by both teams. I dont quiet understand the situation with #5 Gordon. Seems to be the pirates big play threat, why wouldnt you start him full time?

If I'm not mistaken, I believe he is more of a defensive player. Deweyville doesn't have much depth so pretty much all have to go both ways with a couple playing one side only like #6 and I believe a lineman. Probably resting 5 as much as possible because HD had a good offense. Just my opinion. But your correct, kid is explosive and very fast!!!

Wow, what a ball game.  Congrats to Deweyville on a tough win.  You've had two tough losses, so it's nice to see y'all get a close one.  I had it 22-14 (closes I've ever gotten lol), but sure didn't factor in Dbl OT.

And hats off to HD.  It takes two teams to make a game like that.  Tough loss, but I expect y'all to bounce back.
