Really nice win. Just a thought... perhaps not delaying every running play by a second by showing the qb option with him keeping his hands in there would help the Texas rbs hit the holes a little better.  I'm cool with some of the time, but it sure seems like that slows the development of their run plays a lot because they hardly ever run a straight handoff

That may be it.  Sure seems like Warren used to hit the holes with a lot more momentum than he has had the last couple of games.

Offense is getting better, even with 1 starting OL. Sam is the face of the team going forward 

Defense was able to make stops at critical times

As long as you count the Maryland loss as one of the worst losses of the season of any team. They just got shellacked by Ohio St. who lost to OU.

Close Maryland loss less embarrassing than Nicholls and U La La game.  Sam Houston beat Nicholls down the week after they led aggy at half.  Power 5 conference > FCS.

“One of the worst losses of the season for any team” basically invites comparison with, well, any team.  But wholeheartedly agree that you have to take the good with the bad.

Wasn't looking for a comparison to any other game. The fact that Iowa State beat #3 OU at their house stands on its own merits. Texas beating Iowa State at their house stands by itself. What does Maryland have to do with anything?

Lots of NFL teams have had bad games and still win the SB. No one remembers those games except haters.
