Hagar Posted October 3, 2017 Report Posted October 3, 2017 Sounded like one great ball game. Congrats to the Titans for holding on for the win. And congrats to the Bulldogs for beating 90% of everyone's mental point spread (mine included). Both teams did themselves proud tonight. BigNedNOLA, Alpha Wolf and pakronos 3 Quote
KABrother Posted October 3, 2017 Report Posted October 3, 2017 A Lamar coach was in the building tonight...Forney might have very well earned himself an offer. Did Hines get hurt on Memorial’s last drive? He went out after he was tackles for a loss and didn’t come back in. Quote
NeDeRlAnD b-DoG fAn Posted October 3, 2017 Report Posted October 3, 2017 Good game dawgs....bounce back against Vidor Saturday. Congrats on the win PAM Quote
Bigdog Posted October 3, 2017 Report Posted October 3, 2017 Good game PAM, defense is legit. Great showing by the Ned D as well, played hard the full 4 qtrs and it showed. On to Vidor. Quote
SFA85 Posted October 3, 2017 Report Posted October 3, 2017 3 games, 14 points allowed. Defense is great Quote

I had use 28!-24 Quote Stop crying cause next year the mutts gonna keep taking this whipping when they go with the titans to play with the big boys. Also im sure they have students that won't be returning making that number smaller. Also when pam takes the field, they don't have 100 players suited up. They might have 10 more than the mutts... YOU mid county people kill me That wasn't you? Quote
navydawg31 Posted October 3, 2017 Report Posted October 3, 2017 No moral victories here. But Nederland just put the whole district on notice. Great game by both teams good ole fashioned slug fest. Lots of hard hitting by both teams. The boys will be sore tomorrow. Best of luck to the Titans the rest of the way. And let's take care of Vidor on Saturday boys. Quote
L-Train11 Posted October 3, 2017 Report Posted October 3, 2017 PNG will win this district with ease... you heard it here first!! RoschonsBigBro, Tj yellow jacket and wosfan1992 3 Quote

underdogs1040 Posted October 3, 2017 Report Posted October 3, 2017 I know you never said blowout but did say refs would keep them in the game. All I saw was two great defense playing and a few big offensive plays Quote
ciscokid1989 Posted October 3, 2017 Report Posted October 3, 2017 Good game #22 for Nederland grown man I just knew Monte was gonna throw a gadget play never did Quote

ciscokid1989 Posted October 3, 2017 Report Posted October 3, 2017 Png will not score no 40 plus points on that defense you heard it 1st Ltrain Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted October 3, 2017 Report Posted October 3, 2017 First half, the Nederland defense was impressive. Actually out played the Titan defense. 2nd half, that nasty Titan D took over. Other than that last gasp drive by the Bulldogs, Nederland never really came close to scoring in the 2nd half. Memorial has to get that offense going if they want to dominate in district and go deep in playoffs. Nederland showed a ton of heart tonight against a much more talented Memorial team. Side note: Kind of tough to run the score up on the "mutts" when you can't score yourself. jake94 and outanup 2 Quote
jake94 Posted October 3, 2017 Report Posted October 3, 2017 Memorial D is fast and physical! Great defensive ballgame. Both teams played very conservative. Memorial won the field position battle and had the far superior kicking game. THAT was the difference. Hard fought win for the Titans. Lots of kids for both teams will be sore at school tomorrow! I hope Hines is ok. He’s a great RB. Proud of my Dogs! pakronos 1 Quote
ciscokid1989 Posted October 3, 2017 Report Posted October 3, 2017 Our passing game if bad right now teams like manvel cedar park temple gonna make u pay being one dimensional. Martin showed som3 toughness running the ball Quote
pakronos Posted October 3, 2017 Report Posted October 3, 2017 I think Nederland game plan on defense was to make Jones beat them. They swarmed to Hines no matter what. PAM kicker gets my game ball. Xbox gotta do better at running more plays from under center than the one. It felt like the dogs knew when we went under center it was going to Hines. Only knock I have on Nederland is they have to find someone other than 22 to make plays. Simmons was held in check. I think 15 was getting open due to the just don't let him burn you plan. Let him catch it and keep him in bounds. Quote

It really seemed like he would have helped at the WR position, especially on that last drive... Quote
