Grayghost Posted October 8, 2017 Report Posted October 8, 2017 Mount Enterprise will not play Tenaha this week, they'll forfeit and try to continue their season afterwards. Meanwhile, Tenaha head coach Craig Horn scheduled Houston KIPP Northeast for Saturday, 6:00pm. KIPP Northeast High School is a college preparatory charter school, located in Houston, with an enrollment of approximately 397 students. The demographics are 68% black, 23% Hispanic and 9% other. The Gators are a member of the Texas Christian Athletic League, division 3A and are ranked in the Top Ten at #4. The 1 & 2 Gators aren't afraid to play outside their TCAL ranks, they played perennial 4A-DII powerhouse West Orange Stark and took a 66-6 shellacking. This could be a very interesting match-up for the Tigers. Quote
WOSgrad Posted October 8, 2017 Report Posted October 8, 2017 Tenaha will take this one without a problem. However, you've go to hand it to the KIPP Northeast coach, he has NO fear. CardinalBacker, Grayghost and Morris_era 3 Quote

Grayghost Posted October 15, 2017 Author Report Posted October 15, 2017 Tigers 66 - KIPP 6 Final Running clock in the 2nd half. Tiger defense had 4 pick 6's, a school record I'm sure. Physically KIPP was larger than Tenaha, but they were no match for the Tiger's team speed and aggressiveness. It got ugly in a hurry, 26-0 in the 1st qtr. Quote
