SFA85 Posted October 25, 2017 Report Posted October 25, 2017 2 things: 1. It would be nice if the UIL could wait to count after the xmas break. Get a better acessment for all ISD's affected by Harvey. The annual re-districting can wait for a month or two 2. It would be nice if BISD would eliminate centralized magnet programs and put them in all middle schools, give up on intergration per se, and go to hard MS zoning. Then, Ozen can increase their numbers and go back to 5A in 2 years if BISD acts now.... EaglesFootball 1 Quote

Sportsfan1999 Posted October 25, 2017 Report Posted October 25, 2017 Lumberton doesn't have 1157 right now, they are 20-25 below that. Raiders94 1 Quote

I'm not sure about the exact number but it sounds like you are pretty close. From what I'm hearing, it would be hard to see us not moving to 4A. It would take UIL doing something really stupid and that should never happen. :-) Quote
ya_know Posted October 26, 2017 Report Posted October 26, 2017 I could see a district of Lumberton, Livingston, Ozen, LCM, Bridge City, Silsbee, and Huffman. Dayton, Crosby, and Barbers Hill moving to the Golden Triangle Area. Really hoping Ozen drops down. It would be the best for them. Quote
tennisbc Posted October 26, 2017 Report Posted October 26, 2017 Would WOS add or drop any from their district? How is that one shaping up? With only 5 teams in the district they need to add another to help with scheduling non-district. This applies to all districts with only 5 teams. Quote

I’m betting that 5 and even 6 team districts are gonna be a thing of the past. Quote
