McKinney Lion running back Matt Gadek carried 48 times for 594 yards in a 63-50 win over Plano East tonight.

That breaks the previous record of 587 rushing yards in a single game.

Wow.  Watched his highlights.  Great field vision, tough to tackle, and hits the hole at full speed.  Easy to see why he puts up huge numbers.

Coaches have him at 49 carries for 599 yards.

And many don't realize, it doesn't matter who you are, or your physical abilities, playing a quality team, you don't do this without a good offensive line.  So kudos to Matt and the hogs down front.

Yea, good line play, but that run where he was bottled in in the backfield...  You don't let him get away...  That was on the defense...

I watched the line that time through.  They did a great job blocking the second level.  He didn't have to go searching for many holes.

He looks a little small, wonder where he is being recruited?
