Hagar Posted October 21, 2017 Report Posted October 21, 2017 Saw him play a little summer ball. Very impressive (already). Quote
409ANALYST Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 GEESH! All of those offers? Is he better than any of the 3 Headed Guard Monster in Silsbee? Congrats to the young man! Quote
bulldawg64 Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 only going to be his sophmore season this year Quote
BMTSoulja1 Posted October 28, 2017 Report Posted October 28, 2017 Has his eligibility been checked? I remember a few years ago the Nederland coaches was adamant about having the 7' African kid at Central checked and was instrumental in that kid not playing varsity ball for Central. TxHoops 1 Quote

Just saying when you are at the top of your class academically and have the ability that Hefner has, schools will come a calling. About a week ago and kingjames 2 Quote

The African kid was eligible, but the Nederland staff went after him. If you acknowledge that, then I'll acknowledge that 'nice try' thingamajig.... Quote
Razor Posted October 31, 2017 Report Posted October 31, 2017 I know nothing about the other circumstance so I won't comment on that Quote

Has insane hops, shoots it well, and has really good vision. Hence the offers (although the academics certainly don’t hurt either). Likes to distribute the ball and plays extremely unselfish. The key for the bulldogs this season will be who else can step up. Quote

Razor Posted November 1, 2017 Report Posted November 1, 2017 Thank you, Mr. positive...the kid has exceptional tools, the best of which includes his understanding of the game and court vision...I was extremely impressed with his feel for the game, particularly as a freshman...he is already REALLY good and will only get better...apparently some pretty smart basketball people think so as well Quote

The kid will do fine he played against better talent on the Under Armour Circuit and held his own he needs to just keep working I think the best is yet to come and I’ve seen him play a lot of ball. Going against teams with real coaches that will game plan to stop you and get a win. Not teams that just go out and streetball and 1 moves. I know used shoe salesman that can stand on those sidelines and tell the kid to 'run, jump, block out, ect'... Quote
