About the Dishon thing earlier. He came out at the start of the bottom of the 6th inning to pitch and threw about 4 warmup pitches. He never threw to a batter. Coach Bryant changed his mind and sent him back out to center and allowed Hicks (who had been pitching previously) to continue.

Same to you. BC never quit. Such a heartbreaker for OF to come so close to beating their rival that usually 10 run rules them every time they play. Can't wait for round 2 in BC!

sources say:  dishon throws one pitch. goes to CF.  new pitcher throws to two batters and dishon is called back to pitch.  This is second hand info

yes dishon never pitched to a batter...just threw a few warm up pitches..and in BOTH teams defense tonight...the the homeplate umpire was about as consistant as john kerry

Hats off to the Bobcats as they came about as close to the upset as possible.  Top notch freshmen on both teams tell us that the next three years will be fun.  My Cardinals have to feel extremely fortunate to get out of this one with a W.  Anyone have the stats?  BC had to walk 12 to 13 guys with 2 hit batsmen.  Way too many free passes.  Good luck Bobcats!  If you are going to play that well, playoffs are an attainable goal.  Hope to see you Cardinals Friday night at home.
