HD got back to its strength last night, running power football, mixed with some passing from QB Bryce Fregia to WR Hayden Whiddon. No doubt if HD doesn't abandon their identity vs Evadale, going to the spread in a week’s time, HD plays a competitive game vs Evadale. I’m not saying HD couid have beaten Evadale, but for sure a better, closer game. Last night HD’s massive O-line dominated in the trenches, with massive 6’3 300lb lineman #55 Ryan Downs making the agile switch from Tackle to Center on short notice. The HD O-line allowed Shawn Taylor and Gavin Villanueva to use their athletic skills, busting running plays open all night. It’s definitely good to see HD finding it’s true identity and buying into it. HD has a chance to lock in a playoff spot vs a much improved Sabine Pass team next Friday night.
