Aggie Championship t-shirts were eaten by moths 50 years ago!! Aggies won a game in November! Aggies were the brunt of many cruel jokes. They will get some steam at times, they will register with some kids who “get” Aggieland and are a great fit. But by and large, it’s a rather large 8 ball they’re behind. I use an example that for a couple of summers, we would bring a group of kids to B/CS for a basketball tournament By the second summer, the kids (HS kids) were whining incessantly about having to go there and a couple made excuses why they couldn’t One left early with a similar excuse. Of the other 8, only one enjoyed themselves there. We removed an otherwise good tournament from the schedule as a result. The same outfit also hosts a tournament in San Antonio. Kids loved that one.
