How freaking sad is this?  I would have never thought corruption in our Govt would go this far and this deep.  And before all us conservatives start high fiving, why has it taken the Repubs so long to initiate an investigation?  That, in its self, needs to be investigated.  It's okay to attack Trump, he's not 'one of them'.  Not a politician.  Not really a Dem or Repub.  Here's my take on all this.  If all the poo going on in DC hit the fan, 90% of the people there would get splattered.

Probably a conservative estimate.

Pretty good assessment reb. As soon as people start realizing that the majority of both sides are not out for our best interest the better.

People also need to realize that the corruption among the Democrats is much worse than the Republicans.

Democrats can't even be honest to their constituents about their own platform.

Are there problems on both sides...yes.  Are the problems on both sides equal...not even close.

And thats why people have the right to their own opinions. When folks learn to accept each others opinions and know the facts, we will be in better shape

Not sure what you mean by "accepting" an opinion...we all have a right to an opinion, others may choose to disagree, that's OK.

I agree folks should know the facts...my post was about the Democrat corruption, and it's factual...all you have to do is read the news.

CBS lead story:  The opioid epidemic.  The same epidemic that was going on when Obama was president, but it wasn't important then.  Why is it important now?  DEFLECTION.  To deflect from the Dem scandal with Russia.  Which they have yet to mention.

CBS is not a news outlet, merely a propaganda arm of the Democratic Party.  Had the same story been about Trump, it'd be the lead every evening.  Anyone who denies media bias is merely refusing to admit the truth, or to stupid to realize it's a fact.

Accepting different opinions is fine. Accepting opinions that are contrary to a colossus of evidence is ridiculous. If I said "my opinion is 1+1=3", you don't have to "accept" that ridiculous statement.

And would you like to discuss which group will not accept other's opinions? You try to claim that both sides are guilty...which is like saying "well Team A won by a score of 126-7, which is proof that both teams can score".

And speaking of facts...do the Liberals even know of that term? Isn't their mantra "everything is relative"?

    • naw, maaaaybe 7, definitely not 8 deep.  today im avoiding sitting by #10s parents, had to move away yesterday.   "put my son back in jub, put my son back in"  and then crying on every little touch of someone.    lets ball out today ktz!
    • Very close game until the 2nd half (mostly the 4th) when Orangefield came unraveled. Worse defensive effort I have seen out of the Bobcats in three years. This team has to get back on D and quit getting beat over the top when pressing. Offensively, non ball handlers continually turn it over and their shot selection is poor. Basic basketball, such as: defensive hustle, boxing out, and taking care of the basketball are the areas the Bobcats need to work on most. Whitmire will get them on point, but he shouldn't have to coach effort at the Varsity Level.  We'll be at McnNeese this Friday night at 6pm.
    • I don’t benefit from it, that’s not my area.  But the average cost to imprison someone is around $15k per year (on average in the US) and capital cases cost somewhere between $1.5-$3M with over half being overturned or reduced to life in prison anyway.  These numbers may be inflated since the last report I read but I’m sure it would be on both sides and higher on the DP side if anything. So what’s the point?  We feel better because we got to return the favor on someone (hopefully) who committed a heinous crime?  And I don’t know I can say we have “complicated” it. Which appeal should we cut out?  Our justice system has a pecking order and we have higher courts for a reason. When we are about to impose the ultimate judgment, should we cut steps that other cases have to save a buck?  Or do we not pay for an indigent person’s experts at the trial court level because it’s too expensive? Or do we just lock them up and throw away the key (unless we later find out they weren’t actually guilty, in which case we have a key and a life we haven’t unjustly ended) and save a ton of money?  Seems to me to be an easy and obvious solution but I’m more of a pragmatist.
    • 1 thing for certain. Coach Earned 3 more years to figure it out lol
