It is a crucial week for the Silsbee Tigers as they host the Bridge City Cardinals tonight in 10-4A-I district play.  Randy Smith's Tigers 2-4 on the season, stand at 1-1 in district play after a 39-34 win over Navasota last Friday.  Meanwhile, Dwayne DuBois' Cardinals, 1-4 on the season, also stand at 1-1 in district play after falling in a shootout to Little Cypress-Mauriceville last week, 47-41.
