Ok, I'll let the cat out of the bag...

Central will not have their starting QB #2 tonight do to off the field infractions.  I commend the administration and coaches for upholding the rules and letting nobody, including the starting QB, be above the law, even in a big time game that means a lot to Central's playoff chances.

The starting QB tonight will be #7 Phoenix who normally starts at WR and was the #1 QB in spring ball and summer before Harvey.

Central has speed so this one is not over yet. Both teams need to clean up  some stuff for sure. Central running the ball extremely well and PNG is on and off with the offense. Shaping up to be a good 2nd half.....

Central hurting themselves with the dumb penalties.

Penalties, bad decision making by a qb unfortunately thrown into the game as a backup (but got to play with what you have) and an average defense is making it tough.

I think that Central has a chance to put up maybe another 21 points but can they stop PNG? I am thinking no. You can’t trade points when you are down three touchdowns.

Central has to be the most undisciplined team I have seen in a while. Trust me, every penalty has been legit against them. Preston Riggs is burning that "special DB" you guys got.

Uh oh dont let soulja see that. You just said his magic word. lol

Just a heads up, because your a “newbie” your opinion will not be valued and people will bash you... because unless you have been on here for years then apparently you don’t know anything about football. According to some

Two penalties that gave them first downs hurt.  You can't give a QB with that talent to many chances.

That's fine. I can take a verbal beating, unlike some folks on this forum. Lol

    • Has Elmo gotten his aggy premature extension yet?  Pay him already because you guys were exactly right - he really does “get you.” 😂🤣
    • It’s been awhile, but I seem to remember 5 D starters out & 2 O starters out (OL). A big difference is that Simon wasn’t involved yet. He’s totally changed LP’s rushing attack from last year as a bruising, explosive addition to Barnes, Sandolph & Bright. Last year—and early this season—LP was missing that element. Now, Coach Berneathy is not making talented players wait like many other coaches & even his predecessors at LP. If the kid can produce at the varsity level, they’re moved up. And man, has Simon produced! Over 1200 yards & 20 TD’s in less than a full season so far! It’s allowed LP to alternate RB’s where Barnes doesn’t take all the pounding. Barnes and Sandolph are also able to split out as receivers as desired to add threats that weren’t really an option last year. The PNG/LP game was a full-on tilt & good for both squads. I remember Gary Joseph in the end zone giving his son pointers as an extra set of eyes since he’d had experience with LP in past PO matchups. That was a good game. The score wasn’t really indicative of the game. Not sure anyone felt it was over until the final whistle! Good luck to y’all in Cajun Country. Bring back a win for SE Texas. (Yes. La Porte is still SETX. Ha!)
    • SEC fan bases before Texas got there: “The horns aren’t ready for this. Every week is a battle.” SEC fan bases after Texas arrived: “Texas has the easiest SEC schedule ever!” SEC fan bases after every one of their teams has lost to one or more SEC teams from the bottom half of the standings, many of whom Texas beat comfortably: 🤐
