"The Heart of Texas Grill" located as 102 East Columbia San Augustine TX 75972. Pretty neat place with very good fish, shrimp, and chicken fried steak. Pretty cool restaurant! prepballfan 1 Quote

MackLewis Posted October 30, 2017 Report Posted October 30, 2017 Mary Kay’s in SA is very good. Go through the Hwy 21 intersection and it’s about 1/4 mile on right. Can’t beat the chicken fried steak or chicken fried chicken. That’s about your only option. They do have a place on th square, the Pinto Bean, or something likely that. Not much besides that. I have eaten at every dive around my favorite hangout (Rayburn) and Deans is my favorite. However Mary Kays is not a bad option. The facilities and football stadium are awesome. For a 2a school. Wish I could be there this Friday but hey will listen to the game on here Quote
