I almost bought a camp in there. Have a few friends in there. Opted for Black Forest for the boat ramp and its mid lake.... Was off Letney road before I bought my camp...

When I attended Zavalla they did not have a cafeteria on campus you had to go off campus to eat your lunch. Little Gals was a staple of our diet. This was before Carlene's opened

Lil Gal sold out to her Grand daughter, who just sold it a few months back. Not what it used to be. Back in the day it was the best burgers around..

Yes it was. I ate them several times a week. Just a good old fashion burger.

You may laugh but Jimmy Nunez left Motiva back in the late 1980's or early 1990's and bought the Rayburn Superette on Hwy 63 and 255 and was very successful for it.

Pretty good.  Sometimes it can be very greasy.  She makes some kind of cake, that when she actually has it, is the best there is.

Have to try that next week will be in Shelbyville for 1 week. I have had the Trails End a couple of times and The Mexican restaurant in Center a few times. Most everything in Center I have tried.

I’m from Huxley.  Owned the house across from Trials End for 8 years.  Just sold and moved.

Ate at Mary Kay's tonight. All you can eat fried catfish. Was very good. Will be back.
